Restaurant Daikokutei

Our cozy shop seats just 12, but provides a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy traditional Western-style dishes. We carefully craft each dish, using domestically-sourced ingredients whenever possible. Daikokutei’s famous original demi-glace sauce is made starting from chicken broth over a period of 6 days. We aim to create a sauce so delicious it’s practically a meal by itself. Please note that children under 6 are welcome only on Sundays and national holidays.

We’re proud of our stew made from beef shank simmered for 6 days in demi-glace sauce. Served bubbling hot in an earthenware pot.
